At Least It Isn’t Snowing

I just finished my SPE Distinguished Lecturer presentation here in Denver. Great crowd – even though my talk doesn’t really focus on unconventional plays (which most of the people in this crowd are working on), they were obviously interested. They asked really good questions and came up afterward to talk about various issues. The organizers of the event were a bit upset because we got booted out of the ballroom at their usual venue, and were actually set up on the roof under a huge tent/tarp arrangement. It was a brilliant day, though, so it wasn’t bad. It was just so bright that I think some people had difficulty seeing the screen.
